In an effort for the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa to curb it's budget losses due to COVID-19 radical cuts to the Department of Theatre +Dance are suggested.
This reorganization includes cutting the following programs: BA, BFA, MFA in Dance, the PhD and several MFA concentrations in Theatre- this would be a severe blow to both programs, and only a handful of other departments are seeing cuts this drastic.
